Has anyone out there read "the Raven Boys"?  I loved it! I read one of the author's other series, Shiver (or The Wolves of Mercy Falls) but I wasn't sure how this would pan out!

If you have, you should rant about it with me. I plan to draw a lot of fanart for this book.--the more I think about it, the more I like it. It is nice how it doesn't overdo the romantic relationship and focuses on all the stories/perspectives of the boys and the girl. I didn't feel as if I was trapped in a cheesy YA romance novel (not that I am not a sucker for those, especially since I really hope Blue and Gansey get together). It is really nice to see characters written well for both genders, especially since I read it after reading A Dance With Dragons and I am a bit spoiled from GRRM's writing. THERE IS ALSO NO ANNOYING LOVE TRIANGLE.  yet at least--it is possible there might be one in the next 3 books but I was happy to see an absence of "ugh my heart/feels/oh I'm so in love with this guy at first sight" from the lead girl character.

I am so busy with studying for my next midterm block (and I am sucked into the Vampire Academy series) that I don't know if I'll be able to finish more of my half complete TMI gifs and I may not get to some of your messages/ finished conversations until later. I think there are a few requests in the mix, too---I'll get to those, I just have to balance my time.


I assure you I HAVE NOT forgotten in case anyone is wondering. So don't worry, I will get back to you asap, it just might be in a few weeks.



In other news, if anyone has read the Vampire Academy series, I just finished "Blood Promise"! Oh my gosh the feels are everywhere. Rose is such a badass, too. XD I read the first book around the time when it first came out and I thought it was so-so. But honest.y? Nothing has made me feel this way in such a long time. I HIGHLY recommend this series.

I also have a bunch of James x Lily, Heroes of Olympus and other sketches I am in the middle of that I have been meaning to finish.

Finals week is coming up for me, so I am not going to do much art related work until my spring break in a little over a week and I won't really be on DA.
